Earth Energies Group

Welcome to the Earth Energies Special Interest Group

The EEG was formed in 1995, and is the longest-running Special Interest Group of the BSD. We provide a platform for the free exchange of information and ideas between those involved in the study of Earth Energies. We are interested in:

  • Earth Mysteries and Earth Healing - including the study of ancient sites and the practice of geomancy; the nature of subtle earth energies and the harmonisation of detrimental earth radiation; crop circles; the effect of celestial mechanics on terrestial energies, and pretty much any other aspect of energy dowsing.
  • Technological and Scientific Research into Geopathic and Electromagnetic Stress and their effects on biological systems, and methods of ameliorating or eliminating these stresses.

We hold two main meetings a year plus group outings at which members have the opportunity to meet and listen to experienced speakers, participate in workshops, and go on field trips. We also organise occasional specialist seminars for advanced earth energy dowsers.

We provide tutors and organise training courses for the BSD's Core Curriculum modules on Earth Energies.

The website hosts a selection of archive and reference material - see the links under the banner above.

Forthcoming EEG Events

EEG Spring Meeting

Saturday 24 - Sunday 25 March 2012

Leckhampton Village Hall,
Leckhampton, Cheltenham, GL53 0PL

Saturday: start 09.30 (registration) for a 10.00am start. Finish 17.00
Sunday: A practical dowsing field trip to Belas Knap Long Barrow

SIG LONEGREN :
Ancient Holland

The Netherlands is surprisingly rich in ancient sacred sites from long low tunnels of "dolmens" called "Hunebedden", or Giants' Beds, classic Bronze Age round barrows, mounds that are truncated cones that look line miniature Silbury Hills, to "Doodwegen", straight paths (read leys) that lead from different surrounding towns to a cemetery in the middle and many more.
Sig is well known to many of us within the EEG and is an Honorary Life Vice President of the BSD, his subject matter will be new to many of us and his wealth of dowsing knowledge will ensure a very interesting talk.

LIZ PORAJ-WILCZYNSKA:
Sensing the Past

Belas Knap long barrow is the focus of this talk; Liz has spent three years investigating the monument and the ancient landscape around it. Using intuition, dowsing and sensory archaeology Liz has uncovered many different reasons why the barrow builders chose to build a home for their ancestors in this location. Animal tracks, underground water, folklore and ancient burial rites are just some of the topics explored in this ground breaking research project. Liz will lead the optional day on Sunday..

ALAN NEAL:
The Power of the Land and of Us

There are places in the landscape where we are uplifted and at our best, but in others we feel a distinct discomfort, even foreboding. A casual glance would reveal nothing amiss, yet our intuition tells us a very different story. Far from being exclusive to humanity, these seemingly inexplicable reactions are common to all life forms: animals, birds, plants, trees, insects, each one with its own specific likes and dislikes. What triggers such clear yet intangible messages, and how as dowsers are we able to deal with them?

TONY TALMAGE:
Dowsing & the Quantum Connection

Some suggest that quantum entanglement is how dowsing works. The hair, spot of blood, gemstone, oil, water or other witnesses used by a dowser connect through a unique resonance to its parent. It is this resonance which is picked up by the finely-tuned antenna of the dowser. Thus the weird world of the Quantum Field offers a scientific explanation for the weird world of the geomancer.
Tony plunges us deeper into the Quantum 'Twilight Zone' suggesting that we dowsers actually create reality. In fact we are co-creators of the universe. As distinguished Nobel Prize winning American Physicist Richard Feynman once told a gathering of top scientists:

'If you think you understand quantum mechanics, you don't!’
