Dyslexia Questionnaire

An Unrecognized Aspect of Dowsing:
The Dyslexia Connection

The British Society of Dowsers is supporting a survey of dowsers to test an hypothesis that there could be a connection between dowsing and dyslexia. We are asking dowsers to go to http://questionaire.britishdowsers.org, answer three questions and complete a simple Yes/No Questionnaire. Your replies will be anonymous and treated in the strictest confidence.

Please remember, this is just a checklist. An actual dyslexia assessment takes about three hours. Having said that, you may be able to determine if you are/have been exhibiting characteristics of dyslexia.

Although dyslexia is usually seen as a difficulty with reading or maths, there are a number of positive aspects to this learning difference. A natural ability to dowse might well be one. This is something that we hope our survey will help us to discover.

Clearly, we are not suggesting that all dowsers have dyslexia; however, if we can show a strong connection, the benefits to the BSD and other dowsing organizations would be;

1. More effective and appropriate methods of communication with members.

2. Widening membership by reaching out to people with dyslexia.

We will be reporting the results at the 2006 BSD Annual Meeting and will also send them to all English speaking Dowsing Societies throughout the world.
