With the aim of improving our service to the public we have now placed contact details for those of our members who offer dowsing services on our website.
It is important to stress that a member's details on this list do not imply any dowsing qualification or accreditation. We assess members' performance by testimonial. In other words those applying for inclusion on our Register have satisfied our Council of Trustees that they are approved because of their general dowsing experience and satisfactory references from clients.
We are often asked what fees will be charged. The Society considers that the client and dowser must discuss the question of fees before any work is agreed. We do not become involved in this aspect of the dowsers' work.
Our members listed on the Professional Register are bound by a Code of Ethics, which is also set out below.
Clients are provided with a Feedback form and it is hoped that this will be completed and returned to the Society so that we can monitor effectiveness.
If any client is dissatisfied with the service provided then they are asked to contact BSD Office by email or telephone. In the first instance the client should discuss the problem with the dowser concerned. Please do not immediately contact another dowser.
We hope that the register itself will be self-explanatory. Dowsers are grouped into the various specialisms and are listed with their contact details and general geographical location. Many dowsers are prepared to travel to jobs and many work remotely so you do not always need to find someone in your immediate area.
We still operate our Advisory Service from the Office so if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us during office hours (Monday to Friday, 9.30am to 4pm) when we shall be pleased to help. Tel 01684 576969 or email info@britishdowsers.org
