Full year 2010 programme for Kent Dowsers
All meetings are now on Saturdays at 10.30am and on site, unless otherwise indicated, when the location will be at Well House, 181 Broadwater Road, West Malling, Kent. Meetings are £2 per person.
January 16 th . A rescheduling of the visit to the Church of St James, Bicknor. Lunch afterwards at a nearby pub.
February 27 th . A morning workshop on Reiki Healing with Michael Low, at Well House, 10.30 – 12.30ish. Bring some lunch to share afterwards. Cost £6, please book in advance as a minimum number of people are needed for this to run.
March 20 th . A return visit to further investigate the Church of St Cosmas & St Damian , Challock, near Ashford, as well as the surrounding area. See below for more information. http://beechcourtgardens.co.uk/church/ TN25 4DB
April 24 th . A visit to dowse tunnels. Location is still to be decided, so a surprise in store! Ring nearer the time for more details.
May 22 nd . Another surprise visit, this time to check out some hauntings. As for April please ring for further details nearer the time.
June 26 th ( new date) A visit to Hadlow. The locality has changed use over the years. What can you find out about the buildings and the College Gardens? Meet at 32 Court Lane, TN11 0DU for parking.
July and August. No meetings.
September 25 th . Saturday. An opportunity to work with John Baker doing some Archaeological dowsing at Bayham Abbey. Meet at 10.30 on site or car share. Price per person £5. Please book in advance with Rob.
N.B. This is a change of date from the previously advertised one as John Baker is not free on the 18th.
Wednesday October 20 th . A return to Well House to pool all the information from our visits this year and to plan the calendar for 2011. 7pm.
November 20 th . Our last site visit of the year, this time to Rochester Castle and Cathedral. Meet at the Castle entrance.
December 15 th . Our regular winter social event to celebrate the Festive Season. Please bring something to share.
